For the 2024 Vancouver Film Festival, we evolved the existing visual identity by introducing a more structured, modular design system – making the campaign easier to use and scale across the organization.
We began by refining the graphic system itself, building in flexible, format-friendly modularity. Cropping variations allowed the artwork to function as either a bold marquee graphic or a more subtle, textural element depending on the context.
We also developed a clearer content system to help the VIFF team better place text and information – ensuring layout consistency while preserving breathing room for both imagery and messaging.
The result is a campaign that’s cohesive, expressive, and easy to execute, allowing for creative flexibility while staying firmly on brand across every application.
